Join us for our Ignite Your Year 21-day challenge, designed to help you break through your fears, smash your big goals, and build momentum for a phenomenal 2024.

Before we get into the rules of the challenge, let's look at why I want to do this for myself, and if this is the right challenge for you. For many of us, myself included, we have had a lot of big to-do list items, such as building a website, starting an email list, maybe even creating a digital product that we have wanted to build for a while. And we just haven't done it, something has always gotten in the way, we have run out of time, scared of commitment, decision fatigue, the list goes on.

But really it is fear, instric or extrinsic fear is keeping us from making that decision, and going forward with whatever you need to do. Heck I have had build a website and build a digital product on my to-do list for over a year now.

What you will achieve:

  • Make tangible progress on those long-neglected goals, whether it's launching your business, mastering a new skill, or finally getting fit.

  • Conquer your fear of failure and step outside your comfort zone with daily mini-challenges that push you further.

  • Build confidence and momentum as you see yourself achieving milestones and reaching for new achievements.

  • Join a supportive community of like-minded individuals on our Instagram group, where you can share your wins, get support, and celebrate each other's successes.

Before we get into the rules get a pen and notebook out and this is what you are going to write:

  1. A promise to your self and why you want to do this sprint.

  2. Exactly what you want to accomplish during this sprint.

  3. What things you are going to limit.

    Realistically to be successful in this sprint you are going to have to limit some things such as TV, phone, maybe even time with friends.

  4. Lastly, what is your reward at the end.

I recommend putting this somewhere you will see everyday.

Here’s the five (5) basic rules of the Ignite Your Year 21-day challenge:

  1. Daily Deep Work Sessions: You must have at least one (1) 1.5 hours of focused, distraction free work on big ticket items (e.g. Launch a website, start a business, write 5 blog posts)

  2. Boost Your Knowledge: Dedicate 30 minutes daily to learning something new that fuels your passions or supports your goals.

  3. Get Active: Spend a minimum of 30 minutes per day being active (e.g. Gym, walking, skiing, etc.)

  4. Seek Discomfort: Step outside your comfort zone with one weekly activity you've never done or haven't done in a while. Do a bucket list item, reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, or try a new hobby or workout class.

  5. Choose something to limit: Choose one thing to limit, like Netflix or social media, and reclaim valuable time for what truly matters.

Let’s review a few tips before we get started with this challenge:

  1. Deep work sessions are time blocks that are completely non-distracted. Put your phone in another room, let your partner or roommate know you need at least an hour and a half of non-distracted time. If there are things are your desk that could distract your or sites that could, basically remove anything from your environment that can interrupt this.

    It takes on average 22 minutes to get back into a hyper focused state after every interruption or distraction, so you are wasting a lot of time.

  2. Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night. Please don't trade sleep for work.

  3. Use the gym as an active break. Use working out as a break in between work sessions, if you do more than one deep work session per day.

  4. Listening to an audiobook or podcast while walking or performing an activity really helps to get the 30 minutes of learning in.

  5. Whatever you choose to limit should be broadened to cover the alternatives to the same platform. For instance, if you limit Netflix, don't just go watch Hulu, Disney+, or Youtube. Choose TV in general. Or if you choose instagram, don't go spend the same amount of time on Tik Tok, Facebook reels, etc.

That's it, super simple. People really underestimate how much you can do in 21 days. It really is just about being intentional with your time, and not letting the big tasks consume too much fear and space in your mind. It is most of the time not as bad as you are thinking it will be, and once you complete it you have momentum to take on even bigger tasks in the future.
